Aerial Work Platform Training

This full certificate program is suitable for experienced or inexperienced operators of Aerial Work Platforms. The program may be tailored to address the specific needs of each application as required.

Theory: 4 Hour Session (Depending on Application)​

  •  Introduction

  •  Review Recent Accidents and Cause

  •  Explanation of Current Legislation and Standards

  •  Safe Work Environment (Signs, Barriers, Pylons, Pedestrian Safety)

  •  Pre-Operational Inspection of Equipment

  •  Protective Equipment Inspection (Harness/Lanyard)

  •  Engineering Design (Stability Factors, Outriggers)

  •  Safe Operating Procedures

  •  Fuel Source (Battery and Propane)

  •  Summary

  •  Written Test

Practical: (Conducted Individually)​

Practical evaluations require up to one hour per person (Depending on application) or more for newer operators and are conducted in actual work environment whenever possible.
